About Ranjan Kumar
Ranjan Kumar is a full-stack developer and IIT Guwahati graduate with experience building full-stack applications. His technical interests include backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, system design, and applied AI.
Why Codewise exists
Code generation can shorten the distance between an idea and working software. It cannot replace the mental models required to inspect a failure, evaluate a tradeoff, or understand why a system behaves the way it does.
The publication connects frontend, backend, databases, infrastructure, system design, and AI through sourced explanations of the systems beneath the code. The first published path follows a web request from the interface through networking, application logic, data, identity, deployment, and production debugging.
Publication scope
Codewise is an independent personal publication. It is not official documentation for the protocols, products, or organizations discussed. Articles link to primary and authoritative sources, and production decisions should still be checked against the current documentation for the technology in use.
